Laura Van Wyhe was murdered by blunt force on October 26, 1996 in the area of the Southeast Iowa/Northeast Missouri border. She had just turned 21, and was the mother of a 15-month old baby.
This October 26, 2011 marks 15 years that her brutal death remains unsolved.
Her death was staged to look like a hit-and-run accident and her nearly lifeless body was found by the side of a highway near Kahoka, Missouri, late at night, according to police.
The case is under the jurisdiction of the state of Missouri.
No progress has been made in 15 years.
